Starship: follow the flight of the world’s largest rocket live
SpaceX is trying again with its new Starship rocket. After a conspicuous failure in the spring, the US company’s super-modern launch vehicle will take off again in November. It is intended to be the successor to Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy.
Starship’s very first flight attempt on April 20, 2023 came up empty. The rocket exploded in the sky just minutes after launch. In Elon Musk’s jargon, it was an “unexpected rapid disassembly”. Aside from the funny phrase, the episode proved to be a complete failure for SpaceX and a source of concern for NASA.
Seven months later, Starship was tested again. In early September, the US company announced that it was ready to demonstrate the rocket’s performance in its full configuration. A number of modifications were made to the rocket and launch pad. The company even conducted a dress rehearsal before D-Day.
How to watch Starship launch
The flight will be broadcast by SpaceX. The launch will be available to watch once the company makes video streaming available. This article will be updated accordingly.
